Welcome to MoveLab

Established since 2022 by Melinda & Catherine, started in a small yet lovely town, Seremban. We believe we are not just building a fitness/dance studio but building a community that encourages each other to pursue wellness goals together.

We all know working out provides all the benefits physically, but it takes a wellness community to nourish mental health. Moving and exercising together builds a stronger and healthier relationship with yourself and others at the same time.

Barre / Pilates Instructor
I used to believe in “no pain no gain” which turns out a to be total BS. That thought costed me endless recurring injuries, non-effective long duration exercises, topped with terrible mental health. It took me long enough to realise that effective exercises does not have to be all suffering but fun and aspiring. When I started teaching classes, I made it a point to make my students laugh sweat together and walk out of the studio with a smile in the face after each class.
Melinda
Melinda | Founder
Barre / Ballet / Yoga Instructor
With over 10 years of coaching experience, Melinda brings challenge and precision to every session. She is a certified Ballet instructor by The National Association of Teacher Of Dancing, United Kingdom. Melinda has completed her barre technique and instructor education training under Barre Intensity and Yoga Teacher Training from Yogmantra Bali, Ubud. Melinda says , “sometimes a workout is all the therapy you need.”
Ellie
Ellie
Barre / Ballet Instructor
Ellie has a background in rhythmic gymnastics and ballet, but she fell in love with Barre classes in 2014, and has since deepened her understanding in this area. She enjoys putting together graceful movements that work your muscles effectively. She hopes that her classes will open up a space for everyone to understand their body more and feel good after some sweating.
Jee Leng
Jee Leng
Barre / Ballet Instructor
Graduated from The Royal Academy Dance (RAD) , United Kingdom. She loves sports and dance, and has been exposed to street dance , modern dance ,chinese dance and other dances over the years. As a mother of two lively and handsome boys, she firmly believes that exercising and staying healthy is the greatest happiness.
